  • 22-4-2016 & 23-4-2016 - Campus Placement conducted by different companies under the auspices of APSSDC and Krishna University and nearly 40 students trained in our college secured appointments / were shortlisted for the next round of interview at Hyderabad.
  • March 28, 2016 - The College Started a Skill Development Centre in collaboration with APSSDC and Krishna University - Training began for two batches of Students (157 in number) with the Mentors from APSSDC.

  • January 25, 2016 - Voters’ Day Pledge taken by our students.
    • Sri Cherukuri Ramoji Rao, who studied Intermediate Bi.P.C. in this college with Roll. No. 103 during 1952-53 was selected for the award of Padma Vibhushan the Second Highest Civilian Award of our country.
    • Dr. Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad, who studied Intermediate PUC (MPC group) with Roll. No. 81 during 1968-69 and B.A. from 1970-73 with Roll No.359, was selected for the award of Padma Bhushan by the Government of India.
  • January 8, 2016 – A legal Literacy Camp was organized in our college for the benefit of our students by the Local Bar Association
  • January 7, 2016 - Rs.10000/- collected from our students for purchase of clothing and Rs.2,500/- for pocket money, contributed by our Principal, were distributed to the children in the Pranavasram, an orphanage in Bethavolu.
  • December 17, 2015 - Michal Piasecki, Physicist from Poland delivered Guest Lectures for the benefit of our UG and PG students.
  • December 15, 2015 - Chitralekhana Avadhanam was conducted under the auspices of Akkineni Kalapeetam.
  • December 12, 2015 – Our NCC and NSS students conducted Swachch Bharat activities at Vinjarampadu, Pedaparupudi Mandal, Krishna Dt.
  • December 4, 2015 - Sri Sudarsan National Small Industries Corporation Ltd., Hyderabad conducted a one day workshop on Entrepreneurship for our final degree students.
  • December 1, 2015 – On the occasion of Aids Day a presentation was given by retired HOD of Botany, Sri G. Ramprasad Babu.
  • November 24, 2015 – Gurajada Apparao Satajayanti Utsavalu conducted in our college.
  • November 20, 2015 - Vasireddy Chandrabala of IBM delivered a Guest Lecture for our JKC students in November 2015.
  • November 4, 2015 – M. Jagadeeswara Rao, District Governor of Rotary Club visited our college and distributed certificates to our students who donated blood.
  • October 16, 2015 - Chalasani Rajesh, our Alumnus and presently a Scientist working in Israel visited our college and addressed the B.Sc. Students.
  • October 14, 2015 - A voluntary Blood Donation camp was organized by the Rotary Club, Gudivada, Red Cross Society Machilipatnam in which 50 students and our Principal donated blood.
    • A health awareness camp for our women students was organized by WDC in association with Rotary Club of Gudivada inviting local doctors and nutritionists from Kamineni Hospitals, Vijayawada. Nutrition Supplement tablets were distributed to the participants.
  • October 7, 2015 - Dr. K. Krishna Kumari, Principal, GDC, Pamarru delivered a Guest Lecture for our B.A. students.
  • September 30, 2015 - Aloukikam a book written by Sri B. Lalitanand was released under the auspices of the Telugu Department of our College.
  • September 28, 2015 - JKC training classes started for the 40 students selected. Classes have been organized since then by 4 faculty members on a regular basis from 9 am to 10 am and on Sundays and inviting resource persons from outside.
  • September 24, 2015 - Prof. P. Arunachalam, former VC, Dravidian University visited our college and delivered a series of guest lectures on the topic Murder in Mathematics.
  • September 18, 2015 - K. Sridhar from CCE, Vijayawada gave guest lectures for our students and special orientation to JKC batch students.
  • September 14, 2015 - A screening test was conducted to select a batch of 40 students (341 attended the exam.) for giving JKC training.
  • August 12, 2015 – AIDS prevention Pledge taken by the students under the auspices of Red Ribbon Club.
  • July 31, 2015 - A orientation programme was conducted for the benefit of students interested in appearing for competitive examinations.
  • After the introduction of Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) with the cooperation of the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of AP and RUSA, Krishna University and some donors we organized a one day workshop on Preparation of Question Banks and prepared Question Banks in 29 subjects.
  • The workshop was attended by 350 lecturers from Andhra, Acharya Nagarjuna and Krishna Universities. It was an exercise carried out as a part of Academic Reforms initiated in our new state under the leadership of our dear Chief Minister. July 10, 2015 Meeting of the Principals of colleges for acceptance and implementation of the CBCS pattern Syllabus approved in the UG, BOS meetings of the Krishna University.
  • July 9, 2015 – Prepared the UG Academic Calendar of the Krishna University as per CBCS pattern for adaptation in the Colleges affiliated to Krishna University.
  • July 8, 2015 – Meeting of the Chair Persons of UG, BOS to finalise and accept the CBCS pattern Syllabus at Krishna University.
  • July 3, 2015 Dr. S. Sankar, our Principal attended a Meeting for Development of CBCS Pattern in Degree Courses organized by APSCHE at Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.
  • July 1, 2015 Orientation to our Freshers.
  • June 19, 2015. Our RJDCE, Dr. K. Gangeswara Rao visited our college for the promotion of Non-Teaching staff members.
  • June 9, 2015. Dr. S. Sankar, our Principal attended a workshop at Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati on the invitation of APSCHE and Krishna University to prepare the syllabus for UG English under the CBCS pattern.
